Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is rumored to be auctioning off his personal car, the Peugeot 504 sedan built in 1977. that car is an important part of the President. But in order for the charity, he'd be willing to release his car.
This car will be auctioned not only for Iranians, but wide open to the international community. All funds raised will be used to help project Mehr housing, affordable for low-income families.
"To help housing projects Mehr, Ahmadinejad is auctioning his car," said Minister of Social Welfare danJaminan Iran Sadeq Mahsouli. Men who served two terms of President has been working hard to prove he is a friend of the poor and weak. When first elected to lead Iran, in 2005, he was asked by the legal authority to register the property. Surprisingly, the President has only a 40-year-old house in Tehran, along with two bank accounts and old white Peugeot car.
At last year's election, Ahmadinejad promised to improve the economy and bring affordable housing. During his tenure the first period, house prices rose due to a lack of subsidies. In the project Mehr, prospective home builders will be state land and cheap credit to build houses, but of course only for the person who first wanted to own a home. Salut!
